California Assessment of Student Performance & Progress

In 2015, California schools stopped using the old state tests and started using a new system called CAASPP (California Assessment of Student Performance and Progress). These tests show parents and teachers how well students are learning the skills they need for the future. CAASPP has end-of-year tests in Math, English, and Science. It also gives teachers and parents tools to help students learn and reach the goals of the Common Core Standards.
