If you are interested speak your FFA Advisor and join Mr. Moules’ RTI on Thursday October 8th meeting in Room 7.

🍎 Food Enthusists!🍎 What does it take to create the next bestselling snack? Find out with the FFA Food Science Competition Team. Explore the science behind your favorite foods as you investigate food safety and work together on product development challenges. This contest brings science, creativity, and competition together! Ready to cook up some new skills? Talk to Mr. Moules and join his RTI on Friday October 8th meeting in Room 39.

Grand Canyon University (GCU) Presentation | Want to learn more about what GCU has to offer? Sign up for this RTI session to learn about majors, programs, and campus life. An admissions counselor will be presenting. Open to all grade levels | Tuesday, October 6 |  Sign up to attend with Mrs. Strmiska on Enriching Students

Academic Block E - Each year, 10th, 11th, and 12th graders are recognized for their academic excellence and school involvement with either a patch or pin for their letterman jacket. Stop by room 9 to pick up an application and see if you qualify. Applications are due by Friday, October 16th.

 

FCA - There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes club meeting on Friday during lunch in room 10. We will be featuring a guest speaker. You do not need to be an athlete to attend - everyone is welcome. Join us for lunch on Friday.

 

CSF meeting on Thursday, October 8th. This is to start setting up volunteer hours to create items for Trunk or Treat, as well as other potential opportunities! Schedule Mrs Olsen for RTI on Thursday with  the comment CSF. This is  FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE.  

 

AP Exams are online and ready to purchase.  They are not sold on site/in person.  Price is $74 each.  Last day to order at the $74 price is November 6. Please use this link to order the exams: AP Exams  

 

Thank you to everyone who supported the FFA cookie dough fundraiser (those who sold and those who purchased). The cookie dough is expected to arrive by the 2nd week of November.

 

Friends Helping Friends Club: Join us tomorrow, Tuesday October 6th at lunch in room 24. We will announce our Trunk or Treat theme and begin planning for our upcoming events. 

 

ASL Club: If you are interested in learning ASL (American Sign Language) then you should sign up for ASL Club. Our first meeting is on Monday, October 5th,  during RTI in Mrs. Fox's room (room 34). 

 

Book Club: Our next meeting is Tuesday, October 6th during Harrington’s RTI. Come ready to discuss Part 1 & 2 of our selected book.

Oct 21, 4 pm - TEEN AMIMANGA CLUB: Monthly program featuring anime screenings, manga discussions, a themed craft or activity, and Japanese snacks. For students aged 13+

 

Students grades 9-12, CalKids Scholarship is offering $500-$1500 for eligible students. Please stop by the ASB office to see if you qualify.  The ASB Office is CELEBRATING CalKids Scholarship Opportunity with information and FREE GIVE-AWAYS!! Drawing will be held next week

🧟GEAR UP, THE ZOMBIES ARE COMING! Join us Friday, October 23rd at EHS for our first-ever Zombie Fun Run! This is a fun, family-friendly event for all ages, and all proceeds support EHS Art & Music. 🎨🎶 Didn’t register early? No problem! 🌾FFA & Agriculture Students: The Halloween Carnival FFA Meeting is happening on October 7th beginning in the cafeteria at 6PM. After the meeting, come enjoy carnival games and food near the Ag classrooms.

🏆 SPORTS & ATHLETICS NEWS

 

 

All EHS students: If you plan to attend an EHS home sporting event, you MUST show your school ID or ASB Card at the gate to get in. No exceptions.

 

All sports tickets for EHS home games are GoFan only. Please plan accordingly. (The only exception is JV/Varsity Football - cash is still accepted at the gates this year for these games. 

 

Attention Wrestlers : Anyone not playing a fall sport . Mandatory  Pre- Season practice starts Tuesday October 6th at 4 o’clock in the Weight Room. Must have a physical and be cleared on - line to participate. Questions : See Coach Scott in room 19.
