💰 SCHOLARSHIPS
Seniors…Get prepared for scholarships!💰 Check out the Class of 2027 Classroom (under “classwork”) for scholarship information and forms. A lot of free money is available to help with your education. Be sure you get some.
There are already scholarships open. Start early!
Email: [email protected] or stop by the ASB Office for a tool to help you know what scholarships to apply for.
Here's where you need to start (you will use these same items over and over multiple times, so you just need one copy of each):
- Request letters of recommendation from 3-4 teachers and/or coaches.
- Email Mrs. Medina at [email protected] in the Counseling Center to request a copy of your transcript that is stamped and signed. Ask if she will email it to you as a PDF.
- Start writing an essay about yourself. Think of it as a "commercial" about yourself so the scholarship committee learns a little about you. Include your plans/goals and how you will achieve them. You can also note how the scholarship funds will help you.
- Create an Academic Resume. You can use the provided template in the “Google Classroom: Seniors Class of 2027” to gather information, but you should use Canva to create a really nice one. (Karen will help at the ASB office if you don't know how to do this. It's very simple.)
- Complete the EHS General Scholarship Application. Although not all of the scholarships use this application, a good majority do. Once you complete this, you can use this for many of your scholarships. You can find the EHS General Scholarship Application template in the “Google Classroom: Seniors Class of 2027”
Want to apply for more scholarships that aren’t offered at EHS? Use the link below to register for a weekly newsletter. Don’t use your school email address. It won’t work.
