🟣 General Information

PICTURE MAKEUP DAY is on Thursday, August 27. This is only for students who did not have their pictures taken at Cougar Kickoff. Students will receive passes with their assigned picture time.

 

Save the Date: College and Career Night will be held on Wednesday, September 16th from 5:30 to 7:00 PM

 

Students, a friendly reminder- PLEASE… DO NOT REMOVE THE PROTECTIVE COVER ON YOUR CHROMEBOOK. If removed it will void all insurance coverage and warranties and could result in a $50.00 fine.

 

Science Camp If you are interested in signing up for science camp this year please follow the link to add your name to the list. Or stop by and see Mr. Davis in room 7/41.

 

Student Volunteer Opportunity at Escalon Library! Starts September 8 and is ongoing. The tasks are on Tuesdays and/or Thursdays from 4-5:30pm. Helping students grades 1-8 with homework, reading, and word building. Please see Karen Nunes in the ASB office to sign up or get more information.

Senior Scholarship RTI Join the Counseling Department and Mrs. Nunes for Financial Friday on Friday, 9/4 during RTI. We will be reviewing important info for seniors on getting started with scholarships. Sign up under Mrs. Strmiska in Enriching Students.

 

Friends Helping Friends Club: Join us at Club Rush Thursday, 8/27 at lunch. Come learn how you can make new friends, be a role model, and help create a more inclusive campus. Everyone is welcome and we hope to see you there!

PSAT (Preliminary SAT) is a standardized practice test that helps students prepare for the SAT and qualifies 11th grade test-takers for the National Merit Scholarship. The test is currently available online for 11th graders only.  Grade 10 will be able to purchase on September 8 at about 9am. The link to buy is here: PSAT  This exam will take place on October 21, 2026 at 8am in the EHS library. Sales end September 29 at 8am. Get yours today.

 

Book Club If you love to read and are interested in discussing books, sign up for RTI with Ms. Harrington on Tuesday 8/25 in Room 6.

 

FFA. Attention students in Ag classes, the first FFA Meeting of the year is on Tuesday, August 25th at 6PM in the cafeteria. Pulled-pork sandwiches and dodgeball to follow in the old gym. The meeting is worth 2 points and the activity is worth 1. Students must attend the meeting to receive points for the activity. Bring your phone to scan in for credit!

🏆 SPORTS & ATHLETICS NEWS

 

All sports tickets into the EHS home games are GoFan only. Please plan accordingly. (The only exception is JV/Varsity Football - cash is still accepted at the gates this year for these games)

 

All EHS students…Please pay attention: If you plan to attend an EHS home sporting event, you MUST show your school ID or ASB Card at the gate to get in. No exceptions.

 

Students…If you bought an ASB card or your family purchased a Family Pass, but didn’t receive it yet, please stop by the ASB office and pick it up.
