Don’t forget your Valentine! Valentine Grams are available now. Send your favorite people a valentine gram (beautifully wrapped carnations with or without a 14” brown plush teddy bear). They will be delivered to the classroom on February 13 or can be picked up outside the school office at noon on February 13. Order includes a personalized note for your valentine from you. - Escalon Lions Club Student Speakers Contest is Thursday, February 5. Must arrive before 6:30pm at the City Council Chambers. Speech subject is “Youth Mental Health: Overcoming Barriers to Well-Being” First place and finalists will receive a CASH prize. First place will continue for up to 5 more levels of the contest with a top scholarship prize of $10,000!

Yearbooks and Senior Ads: The only way to guarantee you receive a yearbook in May is to purchase your copy by January 31st. This is also the deadline to purchase a Senior Ad for the yearbook or to purchase a nameplate. After that date, we cannot guarantee that we will have enough copies of the yearbook or that we will have space for your Senior Ad. Vintage yearbooks are available to purchase for only $5 each! There are many past years to choose from (dates from 1953 to 2018). These make great gifts and are so fun to look at! These books are in various conditions. They’ve been stored, moved, and some were previously owned and donated back to us. You are able to look at the condition before paying for them. Seniors: Graduation Reminder
- Cap and Gown: To participate in the graduation ceremony, all students must have a cap and gown purchased only through Jostens. CLICK HERE to order.
- Using a Sibling’s Cap and Gown? You may reuse it, but you will still need to purchase a new tassel for the cap through Jostens.

Please note: All caps and gowns, along with any announcements ordered in the fall, will be delivered to students at school on April 28 during lunch. All other items ordered in the spring, except caps and gowns, will be shipped directly to the student’s address.

Seniors pursuing a career in education…The California Retired Teachers Association is offering scholarships to five students in the amount of $1,500. Get the application from Karen Nunes. The Edward Mulvihill Memorial scholarship is also available to students who will be majoring in education.
