✨ Get ready to step into a fairytale! This year’s EHS Winter Formal theme is “Once Upon a Time.” Join us Saturday, December 13th, from 8–11 PM in the Theatre for a magical night you won’t forget!

🎟️ Tickets are currently $50 per person. They will increase to $60 per person on AFTER LUNCH TODAY (Dec 5). The last day to buy your ticket is December 8. Pick up your contracts and guest contracts outside the main office. ✨ Contracts will not be signed during class time.  Once the contracts are turned in, you may buy your tickets in person at the ASB Office or online here:

Friends Helping Friends Club and CSF Members: Time is running out! Today is the last day to pick up your permission slip for the Annual FHF Holiday Dance taking place next Thursday in the old gym and we only have 10 spots left. We will be hosting over 165 students with special needs and can use all the help we can get! Please stop by room 24 before lunch to pick up a pre-arranged absence form, they are due on Monday. Please note that this event is all day, so please plan accordingly. 

 

Student volunteers needed this Saturday, December 6 at Christmas on Main Street.  Help needed with set-up, clean-up, or serving hot chocolate! ONE PERSON IS SIGNED UP FOR THE HOT CHOCOLATE BOOTH.  CAN YOU HELP?  Please sign up with Mr. Anserlian, Ms. Altamirano, Ms. Olsen, Ms. Pimentel, Mrs. Fanjul, or Mrs. Nunes.

 

CSF and Friends Helping Friends Members: If you are helping with decor for the Winter Dance, please schedule time this week during RTI with Mrs Olsen in room 32, or swing by to schedule time after school

 

RTI Enrichment: Come join us to stretch, unwind and destress with Yoga on Monday 12/8/25. No experience is needed and all are welcome! Sign up under Mrs. Peterson in Enriching Students. 

 

Annual Asian Pacific Youth Leadership Project (APYLP) – This is a conference that provides a select group of Asian and Pacific Islander seniors and juniors throughout California with a unique opportunity to gain first-hand knowledge of the legislative process, community leadership, and political activism. This is a free four-day, three-night conference. If you are interested please apply here by December 15, 2025.

 

Vintage yearbooks are available to purchase for only $5 each! There are many past years to choose from (dates from 1953 to 2018).  These make great gifts and are so fun to look at!  Call Karen at 209-691-9858 to check if yours is in stock.

Spring Musical Auditions!  Want to be part of our school musical? Sign up to audition for the cast or join our amazing tech crew by filling out the Google Form! No experience needed—just bring your energy, creativity, and willingness to try something new. We can’t wait to see what you’ve got! Auditions are 12/19 (after finals) at 6 pm in the theatre. Pick up the audition packet from Ms. A in room 4.

FFA: Our December FFA Meeting is on December 10th at 6 PM—don’t forget to wear your Ugly Christmas Sweater and compete in our Cookie Decorating contest!

Remember, the Toys for Tots Drive runs through December 10th. Bring one new toy (~$20) to earn one hour of community service.

Academic Block E - Each year 10th, 11th, and 12th graders are recognized for their academic excellence and school involvement with either a patch or pin for their letterman jacket. Stop by room 9 to pick up an application and see if you qualify. Applications are due by December 10th.

FAFSA- Seniors, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid for the 26-27 school year is now open. If you’re planning to apply, don’t miss the upcoming Financial Aid workshop on December 3rd from 2:30-6:00 pm This is a drop-in workshop for students and parents to complete the application.

 

Seniors….Are you working on scholarship applications?  See Karen Nunes in the ASB office to get your scholarship list worksheet.  It’s easy to use and will help you know what scholarships to apply for.  Almost 90 students received this already! Get yours today!

Male Athletes…Grade 12:  The Greg Cupit Memorial Scholarship is perfect for you!  Please apply. Applications are due mid-December.

 

Seniors pursuing a career in education…The California Retired Teachers Association is offering scholarships to five students in the amount of $1,500. Get the application from Karen Nunes.

Senior Disney Grad Night is tentatively scheduled for May 12, 2026.  Price is $459 per student and includes Motorcoach transportation and a Disneyland Grad Nite Park Hopper Ticket. Registration was due by November 1, 2025, but has been extended to December 1. The extended registration date is specifically for a waitlist at this time.
