If you already purchased the PSAT, this is a reminder that the exam will be on Wednesday, October 25 at 8:10 am in the EHS library.  You should have met with Mrs. Strmiska to test your digital readiness before October 25.

The EHS band and choir fall concert is tomorrow evening, October 24, at 6 pm in the theater. Admission is free, but donations are gladly accepted. 

FFA’s Drive Thru dinner is back!  $60 for a whole tri-tip, pasta salad, Portuguese beans, 4 rolls, and 4 cookies. ASVAB-  10-12th grade students interested in taking the ASVAB exam can sign up using the posted link (https://forms.gle/yeaiu3juGMq6Tvty7). ASVAB is a standardized career aptitude test open to anyone, scores are required for those interested in enlisting in the military. EHS will be offering the exam on Tuesday, Oct 31, 2023.

Attention FFA Members - The Thanksgiving meal drive has officially started, bring in 3 items to your ag teachers and earn an FFA point. There will be an interest meeting in room 37 today for our FFA trunk or treat station at lunch. The Escalon FFA jacket application is open on the Escalon FFA google classroom page, applications for jackets are due Friday, November 10th by 5pm. Looking to earn more community service hours? FCA - There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting on Friday during lunch in room 10. We will be featuring a guest speaker. You do not need to be an athlete to attend - everyone is welcome. Join us for lunch on Friday.

EHS Juniors - The Escalon Sunrise Rotary is seeking applicants to participate in the 2024 RYLA Leadership Camp.  These camps bring together over 200 students from the Central Valley who are already leaders in their schools.  The camps will run from February 16-19.  More information and applications are available from Karen Nunes in the ASB Office and are due by October 24.

STUDENT DRIVERS- You must display a parking permit whether you park on or off campus. Please pick up your permit application outside of the front office.  If you do not have a parking permit displayed, Ricardo will tag your vehicle with a reminder; after that, disciplinary action will follow.

Band and Choir students are selling holiday pies from now until October 31st. Please help support the boosters by purchasing from one of the music students.

Blood Drive: The EHS fall blood drive will be hosted on Thursday 11/30 in the theater. We will host an MJC Application Workshop for seniors planning to attend MJC after high school on Monday, November 6. You must register on the Google form in the Senior Google classroom. Space is limited, so don’t wait! 

 

 

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity football teams on their wins over Ripon. 

 

This week is playoff time at Escalon High School! The varsity girls volleyball team will host Lathrop on Tuesday at 7:00 pm, while at the same time, on Engel Field, the #1 seed Girls Flag Football Team will host Millenium. Both of these games will require Go Fan Entry to get in. NO Cash accepted.
