Eski High goes for the Gold, and Purple! Happy Homecoming week, Cougars! If you’re wearing any tacky tourist or beach gear today, post a pic on Instagram and tag @eskihighofficial for a chance to win some spirit swag!  Tomorrow is Western Wednesday, and Rep your Ring on Thursday (each class wears a specific color). Our Homecoming Rally is Thursday, and our annual HoCo Parade is Friday followed by our games on the NEW Engel Field! We encourage all Escalon Students to attend the game, a night to remember, our new stadium, track, and scoreboard will be revealed! Wear your purple shirts and pack the Student Section, our DJ and Band will have the jams for our stadium to be rocking all night! 

Homecoming T-Shirts are on sale now at the ASB office and online! Sizes available in small to 3X.  Have you seen these commemorative shirts?? Stop by the ASB office and see Mrs. Nunes to pay a special student price of $10. We want as many students as possible to wear these shirts at the Homecoming game, so don’t miss out. ASVAB-  10-12th grade students interested in taking the ASVAB exam can sign up using the posted link (https://forms.gle/yeaiu3juGMq6Tvty7). ASVAB is a standardized career aptitude test open to anyone, scores are required for those interested in enlisting in the military. EHS will be offering the exam on Tuesday, Oct 31, 2023. 

EHS Juniors - The Escalon Sunrise Rotary is seeking applicants to participate in the 2024 RYLA Leadership Camp.  These camps bring together over 200 students from the Central Valley who are already leaders in their schools.  The camps will run from February 16-19.  More information and applications are available from Karen Nunes in the ASB Office and are due by October 24.

STUDENT DRIVERS- You must display a parking permit whether you park on or off campus. Please pick up your permit application outside of the front office.  If you do not have a parking permit displayed, Ricardo will tag your vehicle with a reminder; after that, disciplinary action will follow.

Attention All FFA Members- FFA homecoming float building today at lunch in Ms. Johnson’s room. 

ASL Club meets today at lunch in Room 3. All are invited to come learn some sign language and get in the Halloween spirit.

Band and Choir students are selling holiday pies from now until October 31st. Please help support the boosters by purchasing from one of the music students.

Friends Helping Friends Club: If you are interested in riding on the Friends Helping Friends float, please stop by Room 24 to get a permission slip. It is first come first serve and permission slips are due by Thursday.

We will host an MJC Application Workshop for seniors planning to attend MJC after high school on Monday, November 6. You must register on the Google form in the Senior Google classroom. Space is limited, so don’t wait!

Congratulations to Genevieve Casazza from the Girls’ Golf team for earning TVL All League honors, and for qualifying to play in the CIF Division 5 state tournament on Monday, October 23rd.

Attention all wrestlers practice this week Tuesday/Thursday at 3:30 in the wrestling room. All students not playing a fall sport must have a physical and cleared through Athletic Clearance
