Escalon High School Daily Bulletin

Welcome to Cougar Clash!! This week is full of class vs. class competition to see who has the most spirit!! Come to the quad today at lunch to play Pop Culture Trivia. Each student that participates receives individual points AND points for your class throughout the week. There are prizes and spirit items up for grabs at certain activities. Tomorrow’s dress up day is Camo, with a campus scavenger hunt! We will wrap up this first time event with a rally on Friday with some special last minute guests competing for the winning title! 

Going to PROM? Contracts for EHS students are available in the rack on the wall by the office and in the library.   Prom is May 6, 2023, from 7-10:30 pm.  Less than 75 tickets are currently available, so please don’t delay getting your tickets.  The last day to purchase tickets in person or online is April 19 at 3:10pm.   Ticket price is $85.  Tickets will be available to purchase at the ASB office or online after the completed contracts are turned in to the ASB office.  Guest contracts are no longer being accepted, but can be paid for if already turned in. **IMPORTANT**A new grading period will begin after spring break.  Please be sure you remain eligible to attend prom.

ASB is no longer accepting checks this school year (effective March 31).  Please plan to pay cash or pay online when available.

 

AP Course Meetings and Contracts Are Here! If you are registered for AP Classes next year, you will need to submit a course contract for each AP class you plan on taking. Meetings will be happening this week, April 17-21, during lunch. You can pick up your course contract and summer assignments at these meetings. The meeting schedule is as follows:

Applications for the 23rd San Joaquin County Youth Leadership Academy are now open. This program provides students with the opportunity to experience the criminal justice system in action while developing personal and professional skills. Please visit the counseling office for application.

The Cougar Closet (student store) is open and available online.  You can purchase items with cash at the ASB Office.  Spirit items can also be purchased online via the EHS website. After School Tutoring & Study Hall is open after school: Mrs. Olsen is available from 3:15-4:15 pm on Mondays and Thursdays in Rm. 29, and Mr. Louro is available on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:30 pm. You can email Mrs. Olsen or Mr. Louro with any questions.

First Responder Leadership: If you are interested in joining the First Responder Leadership Team for next year, please let your counselor know - applications/interviews coming soon! 

There are a limited number of 2023 Escalon High yearbooks left to pre-order and will be sold on a first-come first served basis. Once sold out, we will not be able to have extras printed. Senior News

Senior Award Night is just around the corner…May 24 at 6:30pm in the EHS Performing Arts Theater. This is an INVITATION ONLY evening to recognize students with awards and/or scholarships. Invitations are being distributed all throughout this month.  If you get one, you can bring two guests….Just RSVP to get your guest tickets emailed to you.
