Escalon Lions Club has a speech contest for EHS students on February 16.  Prizes are $100 for 1st place and $25 for all other participants.  Only the first 6 who sign up can participate.  See Karen Nunes in the ASB office to sign up.

Interested in joining EHS Leadership Class Next Year? Come to Rm 7 tomorrow, Tuesday, January 31st for a quick lunch meeting. Come and meet a few current students and hear about how you can be more involved in campus events and culture, and student government.

After School Tutoring & Study Hall is open after school: Mrs. Olsen is available from 3:15-4:15 pm on Mondays and Thursdays in Rm. 29, and Mr. Louro is available on Wednesdays from 3:15-4:30pm. You can email Mrs. Olsen or Mr. Louro with any questions.

FCA - The Fellowship of Christian Athletes club will take their club photo for the yearbook on Tuesday 01/31 at the beginning of lunch. All FCA club members need to meet at the softball field bleachers immediately at the start of lunch on Tuesday.

First Responder Leadership: The First Responder Leadership Team presents the very First Annual “Mr. Cougar Pageant”.  This is a fun and exciting event for both contestants and guests. All proceeds will go towards an educational scholarship opportunity for our students. Are you an absolute competitor? Juniors & Seniors do you have leadership, stage presence and quality character? Do you shine on the field, courts or in the classroom? If this sounds like you, we are looking for the best of the best, a dapper gentleman, creme de la creme, the elite, the biggest, baddest …. The GOAT of Escalon High to be named “MR. Cougar 2023”.  Contestant applications are available in Station 41, and due on Monday Jan 16th. Please see Mr. or Mrs. Davis for details.

Blood Drive- The Spring blood drive is scheduled for Feb 16th. Students, staff and community members  16 years-old  or older can sign up at the following link (blood drive sign ups). If you will be 16 you need to get a parent waiver signed and should see Mr Bower. If you have any questions, email Mr Bower at [email protected]..

Tutor Needed: Students if you are interested in tutoring a 6th grade student stop by the Counseling Center for more information.

Mariachi Club Meeting at lunch this Friday, 2/3 in Room 16. We will be taking a club photo for the yearbook. 

Valentine Grams: GSA will be selling Valentine Grams at lunch in the quad this Thursday and Friday 2/2-3 and next Monday-Wednesday 2/6-8. Each $3 gram comes with a bracelet and card. Personalize your bracelet for just $2 more. Valentine Grams will be delivered to the recipients on Valentine’s Day.

Disney Grad Nite registration is still open but space is very limited!! It’s first come, first served until we fill the 100 spots. After that there is no guarantee to go. Grad Nite will be held Friday, May 19-Saturday, May 20. This is open for EHS Seniors ONLY.
