First Responders Leadership: Snap Raise Fundraiser is still live! Please continue to share the fundraiser link until 11/15. For Veteran’s Day, we are putting together a video of EHS Alumni that are Active Duty or Veteran Military.  Please have the service member send a video recorded horizontally: “Hi, I am RANK/NAME and currently stationed at DUTY STATION. I graduated from EHS CLASS OF “2023” “Happy Veteran’s Day”.

Paid Apprenticeship: Attention Juniors interested in pursuing a career in IT. We are offering a paid technology apprenticeship! Students must be work permit eligible and agree to be dual enrolled with high school and San Joaquin Delta Community College working toward completion of IT and/or business courses. Attention Spanish Club members that sold Poinsettias: It is time to turn money into the ASB office to Mrs. Nunes. Thank you to everyone who purchased and helped us achieve our goal. Poinsettias will be available for pick up Thursday November 17, 2022. Please contact a member of the club for the address.

Blood Drive! The blood drive is tomorrow (Tuesday)! We still need a few more people to donate. Students and community members can contact Mr. Bower today if you are interested in donating. In person, or by email at [email protected]. If you have already signed up, a confirmation email will be sent today with your appointment time.

Attention Students: Are you interested in a part-time job? "Basketball Refs are needed for the City of Escalon's youth basketball program! Games will be on Saturdays in January and February. To apply, or for more information, please call City Hall at (209) 691-7405."

Are you interested in taking College Courses while in high school? MJC offers tuition-free classes to high school students year-round. See the counseling page on our school website for a full list of classes and information on how to sign up. 

ASL Club will be meeting tomorrow, Tuesday November 15th at lunch in Room 3.

Reminder to ALL  students you  are not allowed to drive off campus at lunch. Doing so may result in a Saturday School. 

Jaywalking is dangerous may result in lunchtime detention and or losing your off campus privileges at lunch

 

 


Senior News

Senior College Application Workshop. Join the counselors Thursday, November 17th during lunch in room 27 to get help on any college application.

Seniors — Stop by the table in the quad during lunch this Wednesday to win some college gear and items. The counselors will be giving raffle tickets to students who can show proof that they have applied for a college. You will get 1 raffle ticket per college you have applied to.

Modesto Junior College application workshop will be on Tuesday, Nov. 29th. Please complete registration in the Senior Google Classroom. Deadline to register is November 18th.

Seniors - Please stop by and talk with Mrs. Nunes in the ASB office about scholarships.  There are scholarships for everyone.  Don’t miss out on getting some money for your education.  Scholarships are closing every day.  Let’s talk soon.

There is still room for senior ads in the yearbook! Go to yearbookordercenter.com and use the school code 7631 to purchase and design a senior ad. Ads will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Once we run out of room we will be unable to add pages so get yours before it’s too late!

Congratulations to our girls volleyball team on an unbelievable season. TVL Champions and Section Champions, you have made your school and community proud. 

Congratulations to the football team on their victory over Hilmar last Friday Night. The Cougars will travel to Sutter on Friday in the Semi-Final Game. Winner goes to the championship game, come out and support the team. 

Reminder!  ASB cards and Family passes will not be accepted during playoff games.  All tickets must be purchased through Gofan.co
