Juniors - Don’t miss this opportunity….Please remember to turn in your RYLA Applications.  They are due TODAY,October 28 to the ASB office before the end of lunch! Escalon Sunrise Rotary Club made this available for you participate in the 2023 RYLA Leadership Camp.  These camps bring together over 200 students from the Central Valley who are already leaders in their schools.  The camps will run from February 17-20, 2023.  Applications and more information are available from the ASB office.

Thank you all for coming out to the Trunk or Treat! It was a fun evening serving our students at EHS and the community. We hope you had fun, too! 

AP exams  must be ordered before the end of lunch TODAY, October 28.  Otherwise, there will be  a $40 late fee per exam.

Team up against drugs, Cougars: it’s Adam Sandler day! Tomorrow is Disney Day or Spirit Wear! Come out to the quad today at lunch and sign our pledge to be drug free and grab a gift! 

FCA - There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting on Friday during lunch in room 2. We will be featuring a guest speaker. You do not need to be an athlete to attend - everyone is welcome. Join us for lunch on Friday.

The annual door decorating contest is this week: Remember to have your decoration up before 6th period to be judged! Winners will be announced on Halloween.

Blood Drive! EHS will be hosting a blood drive in the theater on Tuesday, November 15. This is a wonderful opportunity to help people in the community. If you will be at least 16 years old and are interested in donating, please see Mr Bower in room 34 to register. If donating doesn’t work for you, but you want to help, we will need volunteers. See Mr. Bower to pick up a pre-arranged absence form.

Senior News

Attention Seniors - Shoob photography will be on our campus on October 27th from 3:30 - 7:30 for senior portraits.  If you have not had your senior picture taken yet, make an appointment on shoobphoto.com. These pictures will be in the yearbook, so don’t miss out!

Seniors, Remember to check your SENIOR Google classroom for updates and reminders. Counselors will post important information for seniors in this folder, including dates and deadlines throughout the school year. 

Modesto Junior College application workshop will be on Tuesday, Nov. 29th. Please complete registration in the Senior Google Classroom. Deadline to register is November 18th.

Seniors - Have you made time to talk with Mrs. Nunes about scholarships?  The time to start applying is now.

The Free Application For Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Workshop will be on Thursday, November 3rd, from 3:30-6:30 PM in the library. This workshop is for senior students and their parents to get help completing the FAFSA to be eligible for financial aid for college.

Boys basketball tryouts start on Monday, October 31st, at 6am. All those trying out must be fully cleared through Home Campus.

 

Attention all wrestlers not currently playing a fall sport. . Regular season practice starts next Monday 10/31  at 3:30 pm in the wrestling room. Must have EHS athletic clearance completed to participate .
