Sports Boosters will be selling Cougar Merchandise on May 12 from 3:15 pm - 6:00 pm at the football field shed. There are new items available. Come out and get your graduation gifts.  

Students, Staff, Community Members - do you remember Mariah Izzo from your Van Allen elementary school years?....or some other way?  Mariah would have graduated from EHS as part of the Class of 2022.  Please stop by the ASB office or call Karen Nunes at 209-691-9858 to learn more about something we are working on to honor Mariah’s memory.

Attention students……During the week of May 9th  testing will be conducted in  the library however the library  will be accessible thru the workroom door for chromebook issues, printing, and other library services.

Attention FFA members: Banquet tickets are available for purchase at the ASB window or through the online store through Monday May 9th.  You must have a ticket to attend the Awards Banquet, they are $20. TODAY IS THE LAST DAY TO BUY TICKETS!  Also if you participated in a CDE team make sure that you have paid for all of your field days through ASB! 

Attention FFA members: If you are showing an animal at fair, you MUST complete entries by May 9th, 2022 by 11:59 pm. If you do not enter your animal on time, there will be a $100 late fee!!!!! 

Attention FFA members: There will be a turkey meeting in room 37 today at lunch and a swine meeting today at lunch in room 38

The online store is at www.escalonhigh.org, then go to the “Families” heading and “Online Store” (under Families) to register for an account or log in to make purchases, donations, or payments.  **New! In addition to Visa, Mastercard, and Discover, we can now accept Apple Pay and Google Pay at the online store!**

We have about 20 yearbooks left! Get yours before it’s too late. We CANNOT order more once we sell out. 

Prom pictures are ready for pick-up in the library.  Please pick them up before school, after school,during break or at lunch.

Track Athletes- return your washed jersey to Mr Bower in Room 34 by Frida 5/13 or you will be placed on the fine list.

AP COURSE MEETINGS!!! 

If you are enrolled in an AP Class for the 2022-2023 school year, you will need to pick up your course contract and summer assignments (if applicable) at your class meeting. Meetings will take place during lunch unless otherwise specified:

  • The AP WORLD HISTORY meeting will take place on Monday, May 16 during lunch in Room 12.

Planning to attend Disneyland Grad Nite? Please be sure you REMAIN eligible now so you are ready to enjoy the activities.

Attention Senior Students and Parents: Incorrect Disney Grad Nite information was printed in the newsletter sent home recently.  Disney Grad Nite is Friday, May 20-Saturday, May 21, Not May 10 as previously stated.  We are very sorry for any inconvenience and confusion this may have caused.  A trip itinerary, permission slip, and list of Disney park guidelines will be sent out this week. Sorry, There are no extra spots for this trip. Thank you!

Escalon High School’s Senior Award Night is Wednesday, May 18 at 6:30pm in the Performing Arts Theater.  It is an invitation only event.  Each student can request up to 2 guest tickets.  Tickets are required by guests for entry.  Looking forward to a wonderful evening of celebration and recognition!

 

Seniors - Did you receive  any scholarships that you want noted in the graduation program?  If so, email [email protected] by Tuesday, May 10th and include the following:  Your name (recipient) and the correct name of each award.  Please be sure it is neat and easy to understand.  Write “GRAD PROGRAM” in the subject line and ensure you receive a reply within one day to confirm receipt.  If not, please follow up.

 

MJC is excited to host evening workshops where students can complete Core Steps (Application, Orientation, & Educational Planning).

To register for the workshops, students can simply click on MJC workshops and select the date they would like to attend.

IMPORTANT: Students check your emails regarding the Senior Awards Night.  Invitations and information are only being sent via email. If you do not receive an invitation, keep checking.  They will be sent from now to early May.
