Escalon High School Daily Bulletin

All Students: Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) is a program that provides leadership experiences organized by Rotary clubs.  Rotary District 5220 is having a FREE Virtual event.  It will be on

  •   Friday evening from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM!

Free at-home test kits are available via USPS.  Anyone can request up to 4 free rapid tests using the following link: https://special.usps.com/testkits

Planning to attend the prom or Disneyland grad bash? Please be sure you are eligible now so you are ready.  You can check with the library and ASB for fines due (for ASB this includes athletic uniforms, cheer uniforms, and class t-shirts) Prom tickets will be available very soon, so be sure to be clear to purchase when it’s time!

CSF- There will be a quick meeting at the start of lunch tomorrow. Thursday in Room 34. There are several volunteer opportunities that you can sign up for.

The online store is at www.escalonhigh.org, then go to the “Families” heading and “Online Store” (under Families) to register for an account or log in to make purchases, donations, or payments.

A new scholarship for Juniors and Seniors is now open.  Students must be in good standing with the California Association FFA to apply.  The final day to apply online is March 1, 2022.  Email Karen Nunes in the ASB Office to get the link to this application.

Students just a reminder…….. if your Chromebook or books are lost or stolen please remember to report it to the library ASAP.

 

Senior News

Disneyland Grad Nite Registration is still open, but will close in 2 weeks:  We have a few spots still available!!   Visit Ms. Steffanic in Rm 7 if you are in need of financial assistance.  Registration and Payments can only be made online by scanning the QR codes on the main hall posters, or by visiting the link below: https://www.wetravel.com/trips/escalon-high-school-class-of-2022-grad-nite-trip-gl-travel-anaheim-94446292 

Lots of great scholarships are open, including the EHS Band Boosters Scholarship! It’s open to students who have participated in a music program all four high school years (guitar, jazz band, concert band, orchestra, or choir). Applicants must be participating in music of some sort after high school to be eligible.  Students of Portuguese descent should apply for the Cabrillo Civic Club scholarship AND The Portuguese Historical and Cultural Society due in March. Please get scholarship details on The Scholarship List on Google Drive in the Class of 2022 Classroom.  See Karen Nunes in the ASB office if you need help or want to learn more about scholarships.

Cap & Gown Orders must be made through Jostens only using the following three options:

  2. Mail Order: 5631 N Figarden Dr. #110, Fresno, CA  93722
  3. Correction: Apparel items will be shipped directly to the student’s address.  Announcements and cap and gown orders will be sent to the school.  Jostens will be here in April to deliver those items.
