The final date to purchase a yearbook is TODAY, Friday, January 21 at 3 pm.  Please buy your yearbook at the online store if you still need one.

ASB office is closed until January 24 at lunchtime.

Ho, Ho, Homecoming is next week!  Dress up days are as follows: Tuesday is pajama day, Wednesday is Croc day, Thursday is dress like a classmate day, and Friday is Spirit Day.  Check the posters in the main hall and join the fun!

Planning to attend the prom or Disneyland grad bash? Please be sure you are eligible now so you are ready.  You can check with the library and ASB for fines due (for ASB this includes athletic uniforms, cheer uniforms, and class t-shirts)  

Escalon Sunrise Rotary Speech Contest is on January 27.  Participants will receive the Zoom link via email the week of January 24.  You can still sign up or learn more from Karen in the ASB office (email: [email protected])

California Scholarship Federation- The application is available in google classroom (class code: 5vjxh6b), remember you need to apply each semester.

Part-Time Job: Join the Sconza Team, Must be 16 years or older. 25 hours a week 5 hours a day, for more information and work permits please see Mrs. Smith in the counseling center.

Tutor Needed: 2 pay tutoring positions are available if you are interested in tutoring middle school students please contact Mrs. Smith in the counseling center.

 

 

Senior News

Senior’s Name Verification: Please review your names in Aeries to make sure they are your legal name. Email Mrs. Liz Nunes ([email protected]) asap. All changes have to be made by February 3rd due to the ordering of diplomas. This is important for your college funding, records, etc.

Sober Grad-On Saturday, January 29, 2022, we will be having our annual sober grad drive-thru tri-tip dinner. It is held at El Portal school from 4:30 pm- 6 pm. Tickets are $55 and come with tri-tip, 4 baked potatoes, a loaf of bread, a bag of salad, and a liter of soda. Tickets are available now. The sober grad event is usually something that is held on graduation night. It's always been a fun-filled night with activities, music, food, and PRIZES that provide a safe place for our students to celebrate. We are asking that the seniors sell tickets to this event. For every 5 tickets, they sell they get $5 off their sober grad ticket. They also have the opportunity to volunteer the day of and earn $10 off their ticket. This is the main fundraiser for this event, and any future event put on by the committee. Packets of tickets are available for the seniors to check out. Please contact, Renee Snow at (209) 602-3241 to pick up your tickets or if you or your senior would like to volunteer. A flyer with all this information is located on the wall outside the office.

New Scholarships to apply for!...  Heritage Church and Escalon Presbyterian Church are offering the Conrad Hensel and Schmidt-Schuckman-Boyles memorial scholarship for members of their church.  Please get more details on The Scholarship List on Google Drive in the Class of 2022 Classroom.

They are available now and better than ever!  YOU design the entire dedication online.  Go to Yearbook Order Center to purchase and create your custom design.  When prompted, enter 7631 for Escalon High School’s order ID number. Space is limited…Ads will only be sold until Sunday, January 23 at midnight.   Prices range from $60-$300 for these memorable full-color dedications.
