Attention any student who rides the school bus: You are to stay off the El Portal campus when you are waiting for the bus! You may line up and spread out across the fence line as you wait but you are not allowed on campus at any point.

Student ID Cards or ASB Cards can be picked up in the ASB office. Please come before August 20th.
Art Club- There will be an art club meeting next Tuesday, August 24th in room 40. We will be discussing art club activities. and we still need to elect officers. You can come by and put your name on the list to let us know you are interested in art club
Photo Club- There will be a photo club meeting next Wednesday, August 25th in room 40. We will be discussing photo club activities/field trips and we will be taking names of students interested in being club members as well as officers.
CSF- Earn good grades? Want to join the honor society for high school students? Want to have opportunities to volunteer for the school and community? Our first meeting will be Thursday, August 19th at lunch in room 34. We will be electing officers. Feel free to check out room 34 or google classroom (code:5vjxh6b) for volunteer opportunities. (Mark your calendar we will meet on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month).

Yearbooks - Pricing is currently $75. It is increasing to $85 at 8 am on August 26. Please order your yearbooks at our online store soon to get the best pricing.
FILM CLUB!!! - If you have any interest in being part of the Film Club, there will be a meeting on TUESDAY, August 24 during lunch in Room 12.
Online Store is open and has lots of good stuff! Go to www.escalonhigh.org, then go to the “Families” heading, and “Online Store” (under Families) to register for an account or log in to make purchases. Class Shirts- If you would like to pre-order a class shirt, see Ms. Steffanic in Rm 7 (across from the main office) during lunch or after school. Represent your class on Friday Spirit Days! Orders close on Friday, August 20th.
Attention Freshmen class officers and any Freshmen that would like to help the Freshmen class. We will be having a meeting this Thursday, August 19th in Room 11 to discuss football programs/help and homecoming.
Senior Class Officers- We are having a lunch meeting in Rm 6, tomorrow, August 19th, to discuss Senior Sunrise. See you there!

Congratulations to all of the cross country runners who completed the Purple & Gold course yesterday. Top finishers were Andrew Morales and Katherine Romero. The winning team was composed of Ben Millard, Jake Sawyer, Angel Romero, Megan Fahey, Belen Lechuga, and Ainsley Salazar. Great job cougars! This is the beginning of a great season for all of our sports.

Atención a cualquier estudiante que viaje en el autobús escolar: ¡Debe permanecer fuera del campus de El Portal cuando esté esperando el autobús! Puede alinearse y esparcirse a lo largo de la línea de la cerca mientras espera, pero no se le permite ingresar al campus en ningún momento.

Club de arte- Habrá una reunión del club de arte el próximo martes 24 de agosto en el salón 40. Hablaremos de las actividades del club de arte y todavía tenemos que elegir a los oficiales. Puede venir y poner su nombre en la lista para hacernos saber que está interesado en el club de arte.
