ANNOUNCEMENTS-

Our Online Store is “open” and has more NEW ITEMS AVAILABLE at www.escalonhigh.org under the Families section.  It currently has CSF Application Fee, Limit of 40 Grade 11 PSAT,  2019-20, and 2020-21 yearbooks, yearbook nameplates, Class of 2021 full-color Senior Dedication Ads to be printed in the yearbook, and Business Ads to be printed in the yearbook available.  If you have any questions about setting up an online account to make your purchase, feel free to call Karen Nunes in the ASB office for assistance at 209-691-9858 from 8 am-3:30 pm.  Thank you!


Anyone interested in playing football this Winter, outdoor workouts have now been permitted, dependent on each day’s air quality, we will begin conditioning outside the weight room at 3 pm bring your cleats and your own water jug!

Grade 9-12 Students...Check out the VFW’S Voice of Democracy opportunity!  The patriotic audio essay competition for the 2020-21 theme is...“Is This the Country the Founders Envisioned?”.  There are many monetary awards, including a grand prize of $30,000.00!!  For more information, email Mrs. Nunes at [email protected]  Although the contest deadline is noted as October 31, applications are due to Mrs. Nunes no later than October 23 at 3 pm to be eligible.

Class t-shirt ORDER UPDATE!:  T-Shirt orders have been placed with the vendor. Class of 2021 shirts have arrived.  We are working on a distribution plan.  We will inform you after the other class t-shirts arrive so we can get them to you after a distribution plan is established.  We are looking forward to getting  your shirts to you to wear!  Thank you for your patience while we get these details in place.


The Grade 11 PSAT is currently available for purchase at the online store.  There is a limit of 40 tests available.  The test date is scheduled for October 29.


AP Exams are currently available online.  Last day to purchase is 10/28/20.


California Scholarship Federation (CSF) is an honor society for high school students. If you earn good grades, then you probably just need to apply. Please view the google classroom link for more information. You can email Mr. Bower at [email protected] for additional questions.

NEW  scholarship opportunity! Seniors who are interested in money to help pay for a 4-year college should consider applying to this scholarship (if you meet the criteria): The Cooke College Scholarship.  Offers up to $40,000 per year for this need-based scholarship.  Families with up to $95,000 annual income will be considered.  This is due October 30.   Go to Naviance for more information. 


Seniors - Not able to log into Naviance?  Email [email protected] and she will send you a temporary password so you can reset your password in Naviance and search for scholarships as they come available.



Seniors...Would you like $20,000 for college? The Cola-Cola Scholarship is open and on Naviance.  It closes October 31.

Meal Distribution Information

Pick-up locations

Farmington Elementary:

Free meals to ALL CHILDREN 1-18 YEARS OF AGE (including both EUSD and non-EUSD students)

(5 breakfasts and 5 lunches provided per week)

In-person learning students will be sent home daily with a breakfast and a lunch (Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday)

 5x breakfast and 5x lunch weekly pickup:

Wednesday 11:00am - 12:30pm

 

Collegeville Elementary:

Free meals to ALL CHILDREN 1-18 YEARS OF AGE (including both EUSD and non-EUSD students)

(5 breakfasts and 5 lunches provided per week)

In-person learning students will be sent home daily with a breakfast and a lunch (Monday-Tuesday-Thursday-Friday)

5x breakfast and 5x lunch weekly pickup:

Wednesday 1:30pm - 2:30pm

 

El Portal Middle School:

Tuesdays and Thursdays

7:00am - 10:00am

2:00pm - 6:00pm

 

Dent Elementary:

October 8th, 13th, 15th, 20th

7:00am - 9:30am

Starting Wednesday October 28th, 5x breakfast and 5x lunch weekly pickup from 7:00am - 9:30am

 

Van Allen Elementary

Beginning Thursday October 15th, in-person learning students will be sent home daily with breakfast and lunch for Monday, Tuesday

Thursday and Friday.

Van Allen students can pick up their Wednesday meals at El Portal on Tuesday or Thursday or beginning Wednesday October 28th at Dent Elementary (see times above).
