Winter Formal: Hey cougars! Reminder that the Winter Formal dance is postponed to JAN 11, 2020. Sales will continue through this Friday, Dec 6th.  

Formal tickets are available now! Pay by cash or checks made out to EHS ASB at the ASB office before school and during lunch. (Online sales are available for individuals only), $35 singles and $55 for couples. Friday, Dec 6 at LUNCH is the FINAL day to buy! ***IMPORTANT*** ASB Office will not be open after school for ticket sales on Friday.  Be sure to pick up a contract for the dance in the office or library! You and your parents, along with school staff will need to sign the contract in order for you to purchase a ticket.  If you bring a guest from another school, be sure to get a guest contract as well. Formal is 8:00-11:30pm; doors close at 9:00pm! 

ALL SENIORS, have you completed your FAFSA, Free Application for Federal Student Aid?  We will be having a FAFSA makeup workshop on Thursday January 23rd by appointment only.  Please sign up in the counseling center ASAP with Mrs. Nunes.  

Seniors - You can order online for Jostens at www.jostens.com. If you have any questions please call Jostens at 800-567-8367. 

If you plan to go to Grad Nite at Disneyland, there are only 9 spots left!! Get your deposit and permission slip in ASAP. Turn everything into the ASB window. The last payment of $100 is due February 3! 

The ASVAB assessment, which measures students' strengths, weaknesses, and potential for future success will be taking place on Tuesday,  December 10th. Interested sophomores, juniors, and seniors please sign up in the counseling center by tomorrow, Dec. 4th.

Want some help with one of your classes? Want a space to finish a homework assignment? Peer Tutoring is available in Room 34 during lunch every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Stop by today! 

Students interested in being paid $10 an hour to tutor students from Elementary, Jr High, or EHS should come by the counseling center to apply.  

Attention Senior Athletes interested in playing a sport at MJC.  MJC Athletics will be hosting a Senior Athlete Day & Lunch on Saturday, December 7th. Students must register to participate. The counseling center has flyers with more information. Seats are limited - Reserve a spot today! 

The California Census Bureau is hiring census takers, you can earn $20 an hour.  Students must be 18 yrs old by March 2020 and be a U.S. Citizen.  Additional information is available in the counseling center.   

Juniors & Seniors: Kaiser Permanente is offering a paid Summer Youth Employment Program.  You must have a current work permit, valid photo ID, and have proof of eligibility to work in the United States.  Please see your counselor for more information. 

A local resident is looking for someone to do yard work for $70 a month.  Must have your own lawnmower.   Also, Senior Citizen here in Escalon is looking for help with some garden projects. She would like to give community service hours but may be able to pay for help.  See the Counseling Center for more information on these job opportunities.  

Come join us for our Holiday Music Concert on Thursday, December 12th at 7:00pm in the Theater. The concert will feature our Jazz Band, Concert Band, Orchestra, and Choir. There is a suggested donation of $3, plus we will have our annual dessert auction! See you there!
