Congratulations to the Varsity Volleyball team for beating Calaveras last night and advancing to the Section Championship this Saturday at 3 pm at Ripon High School.  Great job ladies! Please come out and support your lady cougars! Thanks to all the fans that came out and supported us last night. 

If you are on the most recent ineligibility list, the deadline to apply for Academic Probation is today (Wednesday) at 3:05 pm.  You may pick up an application in the hallway by the office and turn it into Mr. Bartelink or the office.  Late applications will not be accepted.

Winter sports started this week. Make sure your physical is up to date and you get cleared on This includes uploading a copy of your physical on the website.  You will not be able to start practicing until you are cleared online.

No Shave November sign-ups are happening NOW! Add your name to one of the sign-up sheets around campus to get involved, or come to room 13 for an info sheet. Sign up by the end of TODAY to participate. 

FCA - There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes pizza lunch meeting on Friday in Room 10. We will be featuring a guest speaker. You do not need to be an athlete to attend - everyone is welcome. Join us for lunch on Friday.

AP exams are now available for purchase. Please See Karen Nunes for payment and registration. The deadline to purchase an exam or cancel an exam purchase is November 15th. See Mr. Furtado for any questions or concerns. Checks are accepted until November 7, then cash only November 8-15.

Want some help with one of your classes? Want a space to finish a homework assignment? Peer Tutoring is available in Room 34 during lunch every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Stop by today! 

Students interested in being paid $10 an hour to tutor students from Elementary, Jr High, or EHS should come by the counseling center to apply.  

Attention Senior Athletes interested in playing a sport at MJC.  MJC Athletics will be hosting a Senior Athlete Day & Lunch on Saturday, December 7th. Students must register to participate. The counseling center has flyers with more information. Seats are limited - Reserve a spot today! 

Interact: The Interact Club is now collecting new and gently used stuffed animals. Boxes will be in designated classrooms now through November 8th. All donations will be taken by Rotary to disadvantaged children overseas.
