This week is Red Ribbon Week! We will have lunchtime activities on Tuesday and Thursday and the dress-up days are as follows

Monday: Too Lazy for Drugs - wear your pjs

Tuesday: Give the Boot to Drugs - wear western attire

Wednesday: Say No to Drugs - wear a red t-shirt

Thursday: Sk sk sk skip Out on Drugs - dress vsco or e-boy/girl

Friday: Eski Teams up Against Drugs - spirit day

Attention all students planning on playing a winter sport. Make sure your physical is up to date and you get cleared on www.athleticlearance.com. You will not be able to start practicing until you are cleared online.

Do you know a veteran or someone currently serving in the military? Submit their name to room 13 so we can honor them during this year's Veterans Day assembly on November 8. 

A new scholarship opened October 18!  Seniors who plan to go directly into a 4-year college after high school should check into this opportunity.  The OAT scholarship is from a local family and has a really good essay topic.  See the posting either in Naviance, next to the ASB office, or in the counselor’s office for more information.

Seniors! There are still a few class shirts available. Stop by room 13 to purchase one for $15. Also, don’t wait to turn in your Disneyland Grad Nite registration form and deposit to the ASB window!! Space is limited so grab your packet from room 13 ASAP. 

100 Years shirts are still available for $5 with an ID in room 13! 

AP tests are being sold in the ASB office now through November 15.  Checks are accepted until November 7, then cash only from November 8-15.

Do you BELIEVE IN MAGIC?  Do you like to watch Magic and Acrobats? VIVA MOMIX is the play for you.  VPA is selling tickets to VIVA MOXIX at the Gallo Center in Modesto. The play is only $10 and is 10/29 in the morning. See Mrs. Rissetto in Room 20 for permission slips. 

AP exams are now available for purchase. Please See Karen Nunes for payment and registration. The deadline to purchase an exam or cancel an exam purchase is November 15th. See Mr. Furtado for any questions or concerns

Want some help with one of your classes? Want a space to finish a homework assignment? Peer Tutoring is available in Room 34 during lunch every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Stop by today! 

Attention Anyone interested in wrestling this year. Mandatory hydration test Monday, October 21st at 3:15 in the boy’s locker room. This includes boys and girls. ( girls will meet in the gym.) Fall athletes will go first. Any questions contact Mr. Scott in room 19.  

Attention All Juniors: The Escalon Sunrise Rotary is seeking applicants to participate in the 2020 RYLA Leadership Camps. These camps bring together over 200 students from the Central Valley who are already leaders in their schools. The camp runs from February 14-18. Applications are available from Mrs. Baldwin in Room 30 and are due October 23rd. For further information see Mrs. Baldwin or the 2019 participants: Austin Terra, Manny Diaz, and Natalie Cortes.  

San Joaquin County is looking for students who are 16 years of age or older and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher to work the March 3rd Presidential Primary Election.  If selected to participate students can earn $165 while serving their community. Come by the counseling center for an application and more information.    

Students interested in being a  tutor to students from Elementary, Jr High, or EHS please come by the counseling center to apply.  

Attention Senior Athletes interested in playing a sport at MJC.  MJC Athletics will be hosting a Senior Athlete Day & Lunch on Saturday, December 7th. Students must register to participate. The counseling center has flyers with more information. Seats are limited - Reserve a spot today! 

A local couple is looking for a student interested in getting some community service hours doing yard work.  Please see Ms. Liz in the counseling center for more information.  

Girls soccer conditioning is starting!  Please meet on the soccer field Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 3:30-4:30.  Make sure you have your physical clearance and plenty of water.
