Happy Kindness Week, Cougars! Join us in the quad at lunch today to make friendship bracelets. Tomorrow, catch ASB in the halls before school for extra smiles. On Friday, keep your eye out for kindness rocks! Then at lunch check out club rush and turn in your kindness rock for a special treat! And remember:kindness is free, pass it on!

ATTENTION ALL FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORE - Chromebook insurance overdue. Pay asap.   

Reminder that there is a Science Camp cabin leader meeting on Tuesday, September 3, at the beginning of lunch in the library. All paperwork should be turned in to the library.

The Friends Helping Friends Club will meet this Thursday during lunch in room 24. We will be working on Club Rush materials and playing games. Please join us!

Want some help with one of your classes? Want a space to finish a homework assignment? Peer Tutoring is available in Room 34 during lunch every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Stop by today!

Hamilton Tickets are still available.  If you are interested in seeing Hamilton in San Francisco on November 6th, come and see Mrs. Rissetto in Room 20.  Mrs. Rissetto has changed rooms, please come to Room 20.

Yearbook pricing is increasing.  You can still get a yearbook for $75 until 3:05 pm on August 30.  They will increase to $80 after 3:05 pm on August 30 and will continue to increase at a future date after that.  A list of everyone who’s purchased a yearbook so far is posted outside of the ASB office. Please check the list if you’re not sure if you bought one yet.

Students interested in tutoring other students should go see Mrs. Nunes in the Counseling Center to sign up. 

Congressman Josh Harder will be accepting applications for nominations to the military academies.  A Service Academy information session will be held on September 3rd at Beyer High School in Modesto at 5 pm.  The event is open to all students and parents interested in learning more about the different service academies or ROTC programs.  Please see your counselor for further information.  

Attention Juniors, would you like to be considered for the next FBI Teen Academy?  This exciting experience will be offered to a limited number of students on Friday, November 22 from 7:30 am to 5 pm at the FBI Sacramento Division headquarters in Roseville, CA.   Students must complete all materials and obtain the necessary signatures as indicated on the application checklist online.  The deadline to apply is Friday, October 18.  If you would like to get more information please come by the counseling center.  

The City of Escalon is looking for Flag Football Referees. Games will be played on Saturdays beginning October 19th through December 7th. You must be 16 years old to apply, if interested you may pick up an application at City Hall or for more information contact Bridget at 691-7372
