KICKOFF PAPERWORK - If you did not turn in your paperwork, please do so immediately.

ATTENTION ALL FRESHMAN AND SOPHOMORE - If you haven’t turned in your Chromebook insurance forms declining the insurance (which means you are responsible for the total cost of replacement) or paid the $25.00 to cover it from theft or damage please do so immediately.

 

Attendance Reminder- All absences MUST be cleared within 2 days or they will be UNexcused.  Please have a parent call or bring in a note from a parent/guardian.


Attention football players on Academic Probation...Just a reminder to get your grade checks completed and turned in on Thursday.  You can pick up grade check forms in the hallway by the office.


California Scholarship Federation (CSF)- Do you earn good grades and want to join an honor society for high school students? Registration is now open. Turn in your application or pick one up from Mr. Bower in room 34. 


Attention All Juniors…..Do you like History? Do you like Musicals? Are you interested in seeing Hamilton at the Orpheum Theater in San Francisco?  Does the price of tickets scare you? The Visual Performing Arts Club has a solution for you. VPA has acquired 15 student performance and workshop tickets for $20 on Wednesday November 6th.  If you are interested in seeing Hamilton, please stop by Room 20 this Friday at lunch for a quick informational meeting. Grab something to eat and bring it, the meeting starts at 12:45pm.   


The Friends Helping Friends Club will meet at lunch next Thursday, August 29th in room 24. Come check us out,bring a friend and get a prize!


Seniors!!! Senior Sunrise is THIS Friday at 5:45 at the stadium. Bring a blanket or chair and money for the Pony Espresso truck! 


Film Club - Film Club officers, there is a meeting this Friday, August 23 during lunch in room 12. The next Film Club meeting is Friday August 30th during lunch in room 12. Be there to hear about all the exciting things we will be doing this year!.


Cougar Kickoff Pictures are ready and you can pick them up in the library.


GSA- first Club Meeting next Thursday, August 22nd during lunch in Room 14.


Make sure to follow the street signs when crossing the street for safety or the Escalon PD may site you for jay-walking. 


The ASB office hours are before school and during lunch only...Unless the door is open.  Students please come during these times only.


Dress code will be strictly enforced...Make sure all top have a 1 inch straps, no undergarments showing, backless tops, strapless, or halter tops are NOT allowed, stomach must be covered and shorts must be at appropriate length. No inappropriate graphics on tshirts. You will be asked to put a school shirt on if violating dress code and could get disciplinary action. 


Parking lots located in front of the school and on the side of Stainislaus are for district staff only. 

  • If you do not have a staff permit, see Ms. Adelman asap. 
  • Students are allowed to park on the street or in the student parking lots only. 
  • All students need a parking permit, even when parking on the street in order to prevent your vehicle from being towed if blocking a driveway etc. 
  • If caught parking in the district lot you could receive disciplinary action or be towed.  

 

Academic Block E - Each year 10th, 11th, and 12th graders are recognized for their academic excellence with either a patch or pin for their letterman jacket. Stop by room 9 to pick up an application and see if you qualify. Applications are due by 9/2. 

 

Attention all students who plan on driving to school. Please come to the office to get your parking pass 


Just a reminder that students are not allowed to drive their vehicles at any point during the day. Any students seen driving off during lunch will receive a Saturday school and may lose their driving privileges




Students interested in being a tutor should go see Mrs. Nunes in the Counseling Center to sign up. 


Attention all FFA members,Greenhand Leadership Conference permission slips are due today, Tuesday August 20th. Don’t forget to have your teachers sign it!!!
