costa rica me

About me…

I grew up in the small coastal town of Half Moon Bay, about 30 miles south of San Francisco.  As a kid, I grew playing baseball and soccer and went on road trips to Canada every summer.
In high school I enjoyed playing football and baseball while being apart of the Spanish Club and Bowling Club (I have a high game of 232).
Upon graduating high school in 2000, I attended the College of San Mateo where I played football for 2 years.
After completing my general education requirements, I transferred to San Francisco State University.I graduated in 2004 with a B.A. in Spanish.
For graduate school, I attended Notre Dame de Namur in Belmont, CA.  I received my teaching credential in 2006 and my M.A. in Education in 2009.
This is my 13th year of teaching, and my 6th at EHS.
In my free time, I enjoy watching and playing sports, traveling the world (I've been to 14 foreign countries and 17 states), and spending time with family. I also, since moving to Modesto, have become very interested in classic cars.
