Deposits are being accepted now through December 14 at the ASB window or through the online store. Your deposit receipt and the permission slip must be verified in room 13 before you can reserve a spot!

GSA Club – GSA is hosting a Game night this Friday, November 9th right after school in Room 14. All are welcome to attend.

Attention EHS: The Escalon FFA chapter and EHS Peer Interaction Team are working together on a school-wide food drive.  To keep with the spirit of a traditional Thanksgiving, we ask that the donations you make are from the list below, as the goal is to provide families in our community with a traditional holiday meal.  Please refrain from donating items that are not on this list. (Please bring on November 14th to room 36 in the Ag Dept.)

Seniors, who or what defines who you are? Write a 100-250 word essay about this and you may qualify for the Escalon Unified Teachers Association Scholarship.  This scholarship is for students attending a community college or 4-year college. You can learn more in Naviance. Please see Mrs. Nunes or Mrs. P if you have any questions.

Grade 12 if you volunteer and want to learn more about the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards and scholarship, go to Naviance to learn more or see the posting on the scholarship bulletin near the ASB office or in the EHS Counseling Center.  This is due by today, November 6, so be sure to look into this right away! See Mrs. Nunes in the ASB office if you have any questions.

Winter formal sales will start on November 13. You will only be able to attend if you are eligible.  Please be prepared now by checking with Mrs. P in the Counseling office regarding your grades and such, check with the librarian to ensure your account has no missing or past due books or any fines due.  This includes books not turned in from past years. Cheerleaders, check with your cheer coach to ensure your account is current and you aren’t going to be on a list that keeps you from purchasing your tickets..  Also, students with outstanding money due to the ASB office will not be eligible to purchase tickets. Check with Mrs. Nunes if you aren’t sure if you’re on that list. All ineligibility lists will be on file when you are purchasing your tickets.  These eligibility guidelines will also apply to Prom and Grad Bash, to name a few…please take care of these things so you don’t miss out on fun school activities.

REMINDER-All drivers must display a parking permit whether you park on or off campus. Please pick up your permit application outside of the front office.

Football playoff game is November 9 at 7 pm at EHS.  Ticket prices are set by CIF Sac-Joaquin Section and are different than our normal prices: Adults are $10, Senior Citizens age 60 and above are $7, Students in grades K-12 are $7 and children who aren’t in school yet (age 5 & under) are free.  Family passes and ASB cards aren’t accepted during playoffs. We look forward to seeing you all there to support the team. Go Cougars!!

Attention all boys interested in playing basketball this season and not in a fall sport.  We are still looking for freshmen and sophomores that are interested in playing.  It’s not too late to try out.

Varsity Girls’ Volleyball NorCal playoff game vs Skyline, 7 pm.  Admission is $9 for adults, $5 for seniors and students (with valid ASB card).  

Escalon to host the first round of the CIF State Volleyball Tournament against Skyline from Oakland tonight at home 7pm.

All EHS student with current ASB cards get in free due to a donation for the community. Come support the Lady Cougars!!
