Don’t forget you must submit your Prom contract prior to buying a ticket! Contracts can be found in room 13, the ASB window, or the library.

Good job to everyone who competed in the CLASH OF THE CLASSES Rally last night! Congrats to the seniors for taking home the Win! Thank you to Mr. Simoni, Mr. Bower, Mr. Jimenez, and Ricardo for cheering on our competitors. And a special thank you to Mr. Heflin and Mrs. Fanjul for judging the competition.  Congrats again, Seniors!

The City of Escalon is accepting applications for summer employment as a lifeguard. Information is available at City Hall or on the City of Escalon website (www.cityofescalon.org)  employment page. The deadline to submit applications is Friday, April 5th, you do not have to have completed the training to submit the application. You will need to provide either the training dates or the required certifications with  your application. If you have questions, you may contact Bridget Gaines at 691-7372.

Seniors should be on the lookout for Sober Grad Information which went out in an email.  Tickets are $40 now and will be $45 at the door. Tickets may be purchased in the library.  You must turn in the signed permission form to purchase a ticket.     

12th graders attention!  If you missed EHS Financial Aid Night and you need help filling out and submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Calif. Dream Act Application (CADAA), MJC is available to help Mon-Fri from 8am-6pm.  Locations at both campuses: East Campus, Student Services Building West Campus, Yosemite Hall.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) Career Exploration Program is intended to help students identify career interests and abilities. The ASVAB can help you recognize qualities and areas of employment that might be a “perfect fit” for you– and help you discover qualities you didn’t know you had!  Interested Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors in taking the ASVAB on April 11 see Mr. Jimenez in the Counseling Center.

Senior Award Night is Wednesday, May 22 and admittance is by invitation only.  Invitations will be hand delivered to the students this year and will require an RSVP from the student for themselves and up to two guests to attend.  The guests will need a ticket to get in, which will be given to the student when they RSVP.

Scholarships that are due directly to ASB this month are Farmington PTC (due April 15) and Men of St. Patricks (due April 18 **the application notes the due date as April 19, but there’s no school, so you must turn it in April 18)  Robbie Taberna FFA memorial scholarship is due April 29.  Please check these out!

Seniors…if you attended Farmington Elementary for at least 2 years, we have a scholarship for you and it is due soon!  Please consider applying!

12th grade students…You will not be eligible to pay for your prom ticket or attend prom if you have an open balance due for Grad Bash. Final Grad Bash Payments were due February 15.  Prom tickets are on sale now.

Come join the EHS Music program at the Stockton Ports game on Saturday, May 18th at 7:10pm. The Band and choir will be providing entertainment at the game. Tickets are $10 per person. This game sells out fast, as it is Star Wars night. Come purchase tickets in room 16.

All Cougars interested in pursuing a career in Criminal Justice, please come see Mrs. P in the counseling center to get an application for the San Joaquin County Justice System Youth Leadership Academy this summer. Applications are due Wednesday May 1, 2019.

Cougars looking for work: Wagner Dairy is looking to hire a student to work part time now and over the summer. Also, there is a part time temporary job doing cleanup on a ranch. If interested in applying for either job, please come see Mrs. P in the counseling center.

Easter Basket Drive! FFA and Key Club have teamed up for a great cause that supports our community. The clubs are collecting Easter Baskets, Spring Toys, Candy, Plastic Eggs, & Decorative Grass to give to local kids in need . Please bring all donations to the Ag Dept. The drive ends on the 16th.
