Jostens will be here Thursday, March 21 during lunch – They will be passing out announcements, cap/gowns and to taking any last minute orders if you did not order your graduation cap and gown. If you need to purchase one, please bring 30.00 cash and they will order yours asap in order to have them by graduation.  

Cheer tryouts practice will be March 25-27 (old gym) and actual tryouts will be 03-28 (new gym) from 6-8pm all days. You must have physicals and you must be eligible to participate and bring grade printout with you. If you have already have a physical on file you can request a copy using the sign up sheet on the purple board across from the main office.    

Attention SENIORS: changes to MJC dates. MJC will be here for the assessment/advisor workshop on Thurs, March 14 and the Ed Plan workshop has been changed from Tues. Feb. 5th to Thurs. March 28th.  If you have any questions contact Ms. S in the counseling center.

ASB Applications for the 2019-2020 school year are now available.  Applications are due Monday, March 18 so don’t wait. Get yours today from room 13 or the counseling center! 12th graders attention!  If you missed EHS Financial Aid Night and you need help filling out and submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Calif. Dream Act Application (CADAA), MJC is available to help Mon-Fri from 8am-6pm.  Locations at both campuses: East Campus, Student Services Building West Campus, Yosemite Hall.

Mandatory turkey meeting at lunch Friday in room 38. We will be discussing how to get a buyer for your turkey.

San Joaquin Delta College will be hosting a Non-traditional Employment for Women event which will expose young women to career technical education fields that have traditionally been dominated by men, such as automotive technology, Caterpillar/diesel, electronics, robotics, engineering and surveying, welding and the police academy. This event is only open for female students. If your interested in attending this event on Friday, April 5th, please sign-up with Mr. Jimenez in the counseling center (there only 12 seats available).

REMINDER: Scholarships can only be turned in before school or during lunch.

Ed Mulvihill Scholarship is for students involved in art or drama, but all students are encouraged to apply.  It’s due Monday, March 18.

12th grade Band Students…EHS Band is offering a scholarship just for you!!  Be sure to apply.  You can check it out in Naviance or see Mrs. Nunes in the ASB office for more information.

All Students please listen closely – this is IMPORTANT…You will not be eligible to pay for your prom ticket or attend prom if you have an open balance due for Grad Bash. Final Grad Bash Payments were due February 15.  Everyone who has a balance due received a reminder note and needs to stop by the ASB office to make your payment.  Prom tickets go on sale starting April 1.

Come join the EHS Music program at the Stockton Ports game on Saturday, May 18th at 7:10pm. The Band and choir will be providing entertainment at the game. Tickets are $10 per person. This game sells out fast, as it is Star Wars night. Come purchase tickets in room 16.

PIT 2019-2020 School Year – If you think PIT might be for you, come join us for our annual “Meet and Greet” on Wednesday, March 20th during lunch, in Room 3.  Bring your lunch, and we’ll provide the dessert! This is a great opportunity to meet and interact with current members, as well as get a feel for what the class is all about!  Please get an application from Mrs. Gentry in Room 3, or any PIT member! Applications are due by Friday, March 29th. Turn in your completed application to Mrs. Gentry, in Room 3, or to any current PIT member.
