PSAT TEST- Sophomores and Freshmen tests will be on sale Monday January 14, 2019 in the counseling center. SOPHOMORE test date is Tuesday Feb. 26, 2019 and the cost is $16  FRESHMAN test date is Thursday Feb. 28, 2019 and the cost is $11.

12th graders attention!  If you missed EHS Financial Aid Night and you need help filling out and submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Calif. Dream Act Application (CADAA), MJC is available to help Mon-Fri from 8am-6pm.  Locations at both campuses: East Campus, Student Services Building West Campus, Yosemite Hall

Track– Are you interested in track? There will be mandatory track meeting in room 2 during lunch on Tuesday the 15th. We will have sign ups as well as required paperwork to participate. Hope to see you there.

DO YOU LOVE LOVE LOVE DRAMA? Do you love comedy? Do you love Union Square in San Fran?  Then sign up to see “SEASCAPE” at the A.C.T. Theater on February 1st 2019.  Cost is $20 plus BART, See Mrs. Rissetto in Room 19 for details.

FCA – There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes pizza lunch meeting on Friday in room 10. We will be featuring a guest speaker. You do not need to be an athlete to attend – everyone is welcome. Join us for lunch on Friday.

GSA – There will be a club meeting next Thursday, January 17th, during lunch in Room 14. We will take our club photo for the yearbook so be sure to attend.

The Lions Club speaking contest is February 7. There are only 2 spots available. The last day to sign up is January 30 (or until all spots are full).

Attention FFA Members: There will be an ag pest and agronomy meeting at lunch today in Rm 37.

The Daniel Felix Scholarship honors the memory of a past EHS student who passed away one year ago today.  His family is hoping to have an applicant to award the scholarship to. If you would like more information, please stop by the ASB office and speak with Mrs. Nunes.

Italian Catholic students …We have a scholarship that will be available starting today.  The application deadline is March 15. Please check Naviance for more information and to get a link to the website where you can get the application.

SENIORS! Another payment for Grad Bash is due January 15!! Stop by the ASB window to make your payment today! Also, there are still tickets available for those that missed the deadline. Stop by room 13 for your permission slip and make your payment ASAP.

Speech Contest: The Escalon Sunrise Rotary will be holding its annual speech contest on Thursday, January 31st in the EHS cafeteria at 7 am. This year’s topic is “Be the Inspiration” and the length of each speech should be 5 minutes. Cash prizes are $75, $100 and $125 and they will be awarded to the top students. Any interested student can pick up more info from Mrs. Baldwin in room 30.

Debate Club: The next Debate Club meeting is January 22 at lunch in Rm 15. Our club photo will be taken for the yearbook that day.
