Are you a good public speaker or would you like to give it a try?  Lion’s Club Speaking Contest is February 7, 2019. The subject is “Freedom of the Press…what does it mean?” Come to the ASB office to sign up to participate.  Only 4 spots are currently available, so sign up ASAP.  All participants will get a small cash reward. The winner will get $100 and advance to the next level of the contest (usually in Ripon).  This is open to all students (grades 9-12). The first round of the contest is in Escalon in the evening. Dinner will be provided to winners and two of their guests at a local restaurant (usually D’bonis).

Scholarship opportunity is available through the Blue Diamond Growers Foundation.  Details are in Naviance, the bulletin outside of ASB, and the bulletin in the counseling center.  See Mrs. Nunes to get an application. You’ll apply directly to Blue Diamond for this opportunity.

Female EHS Athletes…Jersey #6 Scholarship might be for you!  We are excited to inform you this scholarship is open until the March 21 due date.  Details are posted on bulletins and in Naviance.

Seniors! The deadline for Universal Studios Hollywood Grad Bash is Today DECEMBER 14! The payment receipt and the permission slip must be turned in to room 13 by Friday. You can pay at the ASB window or through the online store. After you make your payment, take your receipt and the signed permission slip to room 13 to officially reserve your spot!

Sacred Heart Club: If you are Catholic, or curious about Catholicism come check out The Sacred Heart Club Today in room 11 during lunch for free pizza and fellowship.

Congratulations to the Varsity boys’ basketball team for their victory over Big Valley Christian last night.  The Cougars were led in scoring by Kameron DeWeerd’s 25 points on seven 3-pointers and a game winner at the buzzer and Brenden Holmes 21 points.  Great job Cougars!

  • Any student taking the bus must catch it here, they are not allowed to board at El Portal or any other site.
