  • You must check out in the office anytime you leave campus.
  • If you need to get something from your car, you will need to be escorted
  • Reminder you are not allowed to drive or be in a car at lunch for any reason.  

 

Seniors cap and gown orders should have been ordered already. December 13th is the last day to order your cap and gown, or tassel only orders online and save the 10.00 processing fee. Any orders after this date will have to pay the processing fee. See Mrs. Adelman for any questions or to place an order. Jostens will be here this Thursday at lunch to take order for cap/gown/tassel or rings at lunch outside the cafeteria.

12th graders attention!  If you missed EHS Financial Aid Night and you need help filling out and submitting your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or Calif. Dream Act Application (CADAA), MJC is available to help Mon-Fri from 8am-6pm.  Locations at both campuses: East Campus, Student Services Building West Campus, Yosemite Hall

Are you a good public speaker or would you like to give it a try?  Lion’s Club Speaking Contest is February 7, 2019. The subject is “Freedom of the Press…what does it mean?” Come to the ASB office to sign up to participate.  Only 4 spots are currently available, so sign up ASAP.  All participants will get a small cash reward. The winner will get $100 and advance to the next level of the contest (usually in Ripon).  This is open to all students (grades 9-12). The first round of the contest is in Escalon in the evening. Dinner will be provided to winners and two of their guests at a local restaurant (usually D’bonis).

Scholarship opportunity is available through the Blue Diamond Growers Foundation.  Details are in Naviance, the bulletin outside of ASB, and the bulletin in the counseling center.  See Mrs. Nunes to get an application. You’ll apply directly to Blue Diamond for this opportunity.

Female EHS Athletes…Jersey #6 Scholarship might be for you!  We are excited to inform you this scholarship is open until the March 21 due date.  Details are posted on bulletins and in Naviance.

Seniors! The deadline for Universal Studios Hollywood Grad Bash is Tomorrow DECEMBER 14! The payment receipt and the permission slip must be turned in to room 13 by Friday. You can pay at the ASB window or through the online store. After you make your payment, take your receipt and the signed permission slip to room 13 to officially reserve your spot!

Congratulations to the JV and Varsity boys’ basketball teams for their road victories over Amador last night.  Brenden Holmes led the Varsity Cougars with 25 points. Kam DeWeerd scored 14 points and Colton Panero contributed 7 points.  The JV was led by Russell Weinbrecht’s 31 points and Logan Webster’s 19 points. Great job Cougars!
