JUNIORS- PSAT tests are SOLD OUT. The test date is Wednesday, October 10, 2018.

FCA – There will be a Fellowship of Christian Athletes pizza lunch meeting on Today, October 5th in Room 10. We will be featuring a guest speaker. You do not need to be an athlete to attend – everyone is welcome. Join us for lunch today.  

SENIORS – A application workshop will be held for students applying to the California State University System on Tuesday, Oct 9th. Please see Mr. Jimenez if you are interested in participating.

SENIORS – A new scholarship was posted today!  This one is the Lois M. Graham Memorial scholarship.  It’s posted in Naviance and on the Board outside of the ASB office and counseling office.  This scholarship requires an essay about an obstacle you’ve overcome. We’ve all overcome an obstacle, so please consider applying for this scholarship in memory of an Escalon High School Alumni who attended EHS from 1952 to 1956.

Grades 12 if you volunteer and want to learn more about the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards and scholarship, go to Naviance to learn more or see the posting on the scholarship bulletin near the ASB office or in the EHS Counseling Center.  This is due by November 6, so be sure to look into this right away!

Attention Film Club Screen-Writers! – If you are one of the screenwriters for the Film Club, there is a meeting today, October 5 in room 12 DURING LUNCH. The regular film club meeting is scheduled for the following week.

Seniors Seniors Seniors!!! ~ A representative from Azusa Pacific will be on campus Thursday, October 11, 2018, in the Counseling Center. If you are interested you MUST sign up in the Counseling Center.

CASH FOR COLLEGE!! EHS will be having our annual FAFSA Workshop Thursday, October 11, 2018, 3:15 pm-6:30 pm in the EHS Library. Please bring at least one parent, 2017 tax information, all records of income, driver’s license,  social security number, or alien registration number.

Seniors!!! Would you like to receive a free 4-year college education in exchange for a 5-year military commitment? Plan to attend Service Academy Night at Ronald McNair H.S. October 18, 2018, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Come to the counseling center for more information.

Seniors- A rep from the University of Nevada Reno will be on campus October 18 @ lunch. If you are interested please come by the counseling center to sign up!!

REMINDER- All drivers must display a parking permit whether you park on or off campus. Please pick up your permit application outside of the front office.

Seniors!-Reminder that your senior portrait must be picked no later than November 18th. Yearbook will be sending out senior quote forms within the next few weeks. They will be due December 7th, we will be having a strict one submission rule this year. Make it appropriate.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is in October –  In order to support the cause, PIT is hosting a door decorating competition! Your door must include your favorite Breast Cancer slogan, color and creativity, and some cougar spirit! Special guests will be walking around Friday, October 5th judging your doors. The top 3 doors of the 3rd period will win a sweet surprise! Teachers were provided a copy of the flier, as well as an email – please see for details on the competition.

Attention all students that plan on playing a winter sport.  Make sure that you have your physical completed and ready to give to your coach by the first day of conditioning/practice.

Attention all boys interested in playing basketball this upcoming season.  There will be a mandatory meeting at lunch next Tuesday, Oct. 9th, at lunch in Room. 27.

Girls Basketball– There is a mandatory fundraiser meeting next Tuesday, October 9th in room 17 at 5:00 pm prior to conditioning. If you are unable to attend you must contact Coach Dalpogetti or Coach Leal for details.
