Escalon High School Daily Bulletin

PROM Contracts are now available!  They are outside the main office. Prom is Saturday, April 13th, from 8-11 pm at the Miracle Gardens Venue.  Tickets are $70/each, and can only be purchased once you have submitted a student or guest contract.

Are you interested in a summer Youth Leadership Opportunity?- The San Joaquin District Attorney’s office offers high school students a chance to apply for the Youth Leadership Academy. The academy will take place June 10- June 28, see the counseling office for the application and more information. 

 

Attention FFA Members: Egg Hunt donations are still being accepted until the 19th.  Bring in 3 items to one of the ag classes to earn an FFA point and 1 hour of community service.  If you are interested in the Ag Leadership class please stop by room 36 and pick up an application.  If you are a junior or senior interested in the Ag Internship class please stop by room 36 this week and talk to Mrs. Stark.

Vintage yearbooks are on sale for only $5.  If you didn’t get your Escalon High School yearbook or would like one with your parents or grandparents in it, we may have one available for you!  These yearbooks hold precious memories and are in various conditions.  Call Karen Nunes at (209) 691-9858 to find out how to get yours today.

AP Classes for Next Year: If you are enrolled in an AP Class for the 2024-2025 school year, make sure you submit your AP Contract to the counseling center no later than Today March 15.

Yearbook: Are you interested in taking the yearbook class next year? The yearbook application is now available. If you are interested, please complete this link and see Mr. Yonke in Room 14 to grab two Teacher Recommendation forms. The application is due Today March 15th

Sophomores– Are you interested in a paid Early Childhood Apprenticeship program? We will be holding an informational meeting at the end of the month. If you are interested please sign up using the google form by March 15th at 3:30 pm. There will be flyers posted in Sophomore English classes and Google classrooms. 

Seniors, Do you know where you will be attending after High School? Visit the Senior Google Classroom and complete the Post Grad Survey Form to let us know where you are attending and see your pennant displayed in the main hall. 

Financial Aid priority deadline is April 2, 2024. All seniors are required to apply for FAFSA or CA Dream Act, if you do not plan to attend college after graduation and do not wish to apply for financial aid you must complete an OPT out form.

 

Looking for students who are planning a career in law enforcement, district attorney, probation or a similar career.  Please see Mrs. Nunes in the ASB office to learn more about this scholarship opportunity..

The Robbie Taberna FFA Memorial scholarship is now open!  It is for AG MAJORS and is due on April 25.  Please be sure to apply!

Mark your calendars! Jostens will visit our campus during lunch on April 10th to distribute your ordered caps and gowns.

 

Reminder: To participate in the ceremony, every senior must purchase their cap and gown from Jostens. Cap, gown, and tassel unit purchases can be made through the link provided in the bulletin - CLICK HERE. Any questions should be directed to Liz Nunes in the front office.
